Laurie Martin
Laurie is a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with over 20 years of experience working in the United States and Canada. Originally from Toronto, Laurie began working with the special needs population at a very young age. Graduating with a Master of Health Science in Speech Pathology from the University of Toronto, Laurie relocated to Los Angeles, where she continued to fulfill her passion for helping others find their voice. Laurie holds a California state license, a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology, is trained in PROMPT therapy, DTTC therapy, and is certified in Orofacial Myology.
Laurie runs a private practice in Tarzana, California, where she evaluates and treats children with a variety of delays and disorders, including Childhood Apraxia of Speech, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Articulation Delays, Expressive and Receptive Language Delays, Stuttering, and Orofacial Myology.
Laurie is a doting mother to two teenage daughters. She is proud that they are keen to follow her footsteps and become Speech-Language Pathologists when they grow up.
